Trees Meet Needs
The Fund will be guided by the Sacramento Tree Foundation’s board of directors to advance the Foundation’s mission in its response to emerging issues and opportunities.
All gifts above and beyond the $50,000 allocated to the Ray and Judy Tretheway Heritage Oak Preserve will be used to:
Increase tree canopies in Sacramento’s low-income neighborhoods.
Align the Sacramento Tree Foundation’s resources and priorities to ensure that programs support efforts to improve public health and outdoor amenities where needed the most.
New and emerging opportunities to address urban forest inequities.
